WHERE WE WORK
Stronger People. Healthier Families. Safer Communities.
Our approach looks beyond the crisis to identify risk factors, understand pathways, strengthen protective factors, and connect people with appropriate education, resources, and support.

1. WORK
Mental & Behavioral Wellness
Illinois C.A.R.E.S.™ focuses on the factors that influence mental and behavioral wellness across the lifespan. We address suicide prevention, substance use, emotional well-being, behavioral health, and other conditions that can increase risk and affect individuals, families, and communities.

2. WORK
Family & Youth Resilience
Strong families and healthy relationships can provide important protective factors throughout life. Illinois C.A.R.E.S.™ focuses on strengthening families, supporting youth, improving relationships, and identifying challenges early before they become more serious.
We address family stability, parenting, youth development, healthy relationships, adverse experiences, and other factors that can influence a young person's well-being and future.

3. WORK
Community Health & Safety
The conditions in which people live, learn, work, and grow can directly affect their health and quality of life. Illinois C.A.R.E.S.™ addresses the community factors that can create barriers to wellness and increase risk.
Our focus includes healthcare access, transportation, food security, housing, education, employment, neighborhood conditions, and other social determinants of health. By connecting people with resources and strengthening community support systems, we create opportunities to address challenges earlier.
